With the use of the phone camera, even offline, the app can instantly translate the literature in the camera into any language your have downloaded and chose. Amazing! Imaging I am at a foreign airport, restaurant and use the camera in the app....

I used this translator for house hunting in Panama when texting someone on WhatsApp and they said I speak Spanish well and wanted to phone me.

I think detect language would be a lot better if you could use it in camera mode. If you dont know what language you are trying to translate but you have a picture of it, it is not easy to rewrite it when you dont know what language it is in the first place

This app is one of the best translator applications. I am happy that they fixed the issue with background audio. Offline translations can never be easier using this app Overall, a great app for translation!

I love the new detection mode, because I can scan my Japan game, but can you improve it please. Thanks you very much for that new mode.

After the latest update/bug fixes, the app does not load/open.

My background is Portuguese and my grandparents speak Portuguese, however I have a very hard time speaking to them with this app because the kind of Portuguese youve implemented is Brazilian Portuguese which has many small (sometimes large) differences in the language. Id like an option for an actual Portuguese woman to speak and the actual Portugal Portuguese translation. Thank you for reading

Really nice app, reason I passed French class

Ive tried downloading this twice now over 2 days. It stops downloading 2/3 of the way. Ill leave a better review once I can open it & try it.

The new updates are amazing. Especially traveling in a country where you may not understand simple signs or menus in a restaurant

With Chinese, it doesnt show pinyin, which doesnt help if you dont know how to pronounce the word. Please add a pinyin feature!!!!!

I like the features of offline translation mode. But sometimes, when you translate a phrase into another language, the sentence just doesnt make any sence or its syntax and grammar are just so bad. And when I click to a cantonese audio for the chinese traditional writing, the audio is still in mandarin. I hope one day youll add cantonese available on Google Translate because its still an important language internationally even if mandarin is dominating in the chinese speaking world.

Its very slow, Also if you write on English: I am finished the French translation will say I AM DEAD on French. This is a basic/easy way to cheat. In grade 4 I used this to cheat on a worksheet and when I handed the paper to my teacher it said "The ring opened the box for lady it was huge and dirty"I never used this again.
