I constantly have this bug where I paste in text from my phone’s clipboard to translate, and then the app sticks, and won’t let me scroll down to see the translation. It’s not even like it’s loading the translation since when I paste in my text I see a snippet of the translation, but I can’t scroll down to see the whole thing. Total garbage.

Would be more helpful if the definition, etc... were given in the “translate to” language.

PLEASE add gender cases to the nouns! In languages other than English this is extremely important and affects agreement with adjectives and their spelling. I love this app and this would be a simple yet crucial enhancement. Been using the app for years BUT when I need to know the gender I must anyway and subsequently go online and search outside Google. Thanks for integrating this! Example: in French is NUAGE masculine or feminine. You app simply tells you it means CLOUD in English yet this is limited info as you must know if it’s masculine or feminine. Ah yes, many languages beyond English are not gender neutral.

This translator app is missing Cantonese, a language spoken by tens of millions of people across the world. It also doesn’t have an Apple Watch app. Microsoft Translator has both. I will be using that instead.

This really nice app... based on my experiment most of time it gives exact translations with meaning less sentences. But it’s really good start.. appreciate the effort and idea.?

What happened to pinyin and to seeing your english translation as well as the ability to play tranlation with voice? Have all 3 of these features been removed approximately middle of February 2018. I do not know about anyone else bu the english to simplified chinese use is getting progressively worse on iphone6.. as of 3 weeks ago i am mo longer able to see my english words as dictated and the translation no longer has the option to play words in chinese. it only seems to work now if you utter 1 to 2 words then you are able to play translation. However the dictated verse is never displayed as is the pinyin is never displayed in translation like it dies on a android nexus 5 for instance. Is the translator version from circa early 2017 available to install? if not google translate department should seriously consider making if available for users it become unusable. there are significant amount of requests to go back, forget “continuous delivery” how about cutting us users a break and adopt a little more “discontinuous retention” Just because you CAN add a fifth tire to an automobile does not make it drive better. you dig?

Whenever I use the speech translation the programs stops working after one translation. The only way to get it working again is to unload the program and restart it. I have to do this over and over. I use English Spanish and Portuguese.

This app helps me in Spanish,Japanese and Chinese there is nothing wrong with this app so far.??

I can translate everything! I fell powerful when i can speak with anyone just using this app, and, to be honest... I learn most of English and its words just by using Google Translate!! Thank you, Google, to share all of your knowledge with the word!!! Aplicativo 10/10! Kkkk (“Awesome app!!”*, in Portuguese...)

I love this app for single words or a short sentence. But if you paste in 4 or so paragraphs (about enough to fill a screen) then when you tell it to translate (go!) it will only show you the text you pasted and refuse to let you scroll down to read the translation.

If i can access google translate from any device and keep my favorite words on my all devices It will be the best app and not only an ordinary app Thanks ??

“filipino” is not a language

It would be helpful if after highlighting text the iOS send to feature could be used. If after selecting the send to option, and Google Translate was added as an app that the copied text could be sent to then the copied text could be opened directly in Google Translate app and translated based on the last selected languages.

The camera lens translate feature does not work. It is very glitchy and reads inaccurately! Please fix!!!!

I had a Portuguese speaking classmate and we had a conversation together while understanding each other!

I was in Spanish class translating stuff and the app just crashed. I was scared. I have never crashed before. But other then that it is a very good app
