Google Translate App Reviews

While the translations of some texts can be a bit weird, this app should be on your device if you use more than one language. It is quick and usually quite accurate, even when translating idiomatic language.

Its not bad. I just really have a hard time using the voice setting. They really need to work on that.

Great app

This is a good app but there is no option in translating photo text for my language: Cambodian/Khmer. Hopefully a new update for my Language will come soon. Thanks!

This app helped me a lot, Really good and easy to use.

I just downloaded the app and have been using it nonstop its great thank you Google.

The app works well for languages and words, etc. But when I went to translate a webpage and put the URL in, it wouldnt translate the webpage the way the online version of Translate does, or at least used to. Really unfortunate, as its a great feature.

Please add Chinese *Cantonese* Audio *OUTPUT*. Thank you.

Not for iPad as the camera does not focus right. Waited 1 minute to translate a French text and program kept sweeping the French words around with no results. I have it on my Windows Lumia smart phone and works perfectly within seconds so thought it would work on the iPad. Oops

There isnt any offline language in new version, why?!

Doesnt make sense that the online version that one access through a PC is so much better than the app!

Dont know about the other languages, but I do know that between Chinese and English, it is very accurate and you can even search offline! I really like this app. As expected of Google

The app is greyed out on my screen cant delete it to reinstall.

This translator is useless. Most of the translations are practically messed up. Most of it doesnt even make sense and translates some Japanese words on romanji like it was English. I some times translate sentences to spanish to check if I said it right but it gives me another sentence instead of the one I want to translate. Sometimes even the easy words are wrong. Google really needs to get new translators.
