Pretty Cool App

I downloaded this specifically for Arabic. It appears Arabic cannot be translated with the camera. I appreciate the other languages that can be translated with the camera.

I especially love the saved history and downloadable languages. Just perfect.

In Italy where they speak Italian people have different accents than Romans (a ancient culture that spoke Latin).

After i downloaded first package of language for offline ,the app shows nothing in offline section ,and when i try redownload the language it says there is no package to download right now

Google translate is a must have language tool. Its simply the best, easiest to use, and has the most accurate translations. But, as a request, can we please get Tagalog (Filipino) speech output? Thanks!

Its fast, its understands me and anyone not me, and realtime camera translating is SO COOL. 10/10. This is very useful

I downloaded this app before traveling to Thailand. I even downloaded the dictionary to have access offline. This app was not helpful for several reasons: - The camera option did not work for the Thai language (although it worked with Chinese on my layover, still pretty cumbersome). Given the popularity of Thailand as a travel destination I do not know why this function would not be operational for Thai. - It could not translate common Thai words with English characters. So I could not type in any words to find their meaning. Which meant... - The only way this app offered any assistance is if I DREW the Thai characters, which I do not know how to do. - The only other option I can think of is to change the keypad to Thai characters, but since I am unfamiliar with the nuances of the characters this would still render this app useless for my purposes. The irony is that I even saw this app recommended in a Thai magazine! Update your languages to include Thai!

Much better than I expected

I have said it before and I will say it again, Scanning Chinese is a pain in the butt please make it better

Just the best

Along with the most recent update came a bug where attempting to translate an image of text crashes the app. For me, this renders the app utterly useless.

A pretty fast translator. But one disadvantage: Cant sync your starred translations. PC version already had this, so please add this feature to the mobile version too. Thanks.

Thanks google I can now cheat on all of my Spanish homework 10/10

Every time I click the app it crashes. Every single time. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because when the app actually opens its wonderful. But it is not opening. Therefore currently it is not wonderful.

I never usually write reviews, but this app is so amazing, that I was able to speak to people in Italy through this app without even typing what to say! I am very happy with this app, but I wished they added auto translate to a few languages (Hebrew, etc.)
